At the Australian Open Explore Engage presented to the market, together with KIA, a new augmented reality application.

The application, which is available for both the iPhone and Android, use the augmented reality to bring the latest model of the Korean carmaker (Optima) from the TV screen onto the user's phone in an interactive 3D model that allows you to have fun discovering all its features.

The application for Kia and is one of the first in Australia to actually use augmented reality for advertising purposes using both television and other media such as web and print media. Explore Engage and Kia are then exploring a field that probably will have a prominent role the future of advertising.

To launch the application just point the camera to the KIA logo that will appear on TV and immediately the punchy Optima will roar its way 'out of the logo in headlights. The three-dimensionality of the model will allow you to see the vehicles in its details and interact with it by raising the hood or by turning the headlights on and off

(as shown in the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zygBTf3-i00).

'We at Kia we are constantly looking for new ways to connect and engage with the people . We are excited about the launch of this product to coincide with the Australian Open,' said Gerrit Walters, Brand and Advertising Manager, Kia Motors.

For its part Explore Engage has always had experimentation and innovation among its goals  and therefore  they say they are very satisfied with the cooperation with KIA
